History of Our Club
For many years Avenal FFA was very active. For the past few years it has not, but we are working on bringing it back.
The members are working diligently to become active members in the Tulare/Kings Section, San Joaquin Region and the State
of California.
Several students have been raising purebred Duroc market hogs. Some others have ordered laying hens and plan to sell the
eggs. A few members have started a lavender SAE where they make candles and bath products from lavender grown on our farm.

Our Charter
Although it is unknown when our club was chartered by Avenal High School ASB, plaques, pictures, awards, and scrapbooks show
